The advancement of ICT has redefined the dynamics of information and its formats in science communication. The process of scholarly communication by researchers and academicians is effective more than ever before and its reach is much faster through online and social media. The transition of information formats and transmission through online channels, the reach of science for wider academicians and beyond have enhanced the research impact to the next level. Simultaneously, it has also opened the plethora of opportunities to the metrics community to compute the impact with much wider indicators. The two days national conference will have plenary talks, presentations, brain storming sessions, deliberations, panel discussions by eminent speakers from across the disciplines of scholarly community and the domain of metrics.
